By RS I hope you mean remote start. If so, it seems you may have tap into the dimmer wire of the car instead of parking lights. If you did the installation, troubleshoot the parking light cable at the brain, disconnect it and try RS it and see if that fixed the problem. Use a reliable website for RS diagrams like directechs.com or the12volt.com. Good luck.
