"50% off coupon" in French?

I had put "un coupon avec reduction de cinquante pour sent" but my professor said this isn't correct. My roommate and I get different translations when we use google translate. Should I use rabais? If that's the right word, how would I use it exactly? "obtenir un rabais de 50% sur nourriture"?
